Governance and management of biodiversity in Macin Mountains National Park, Romania
Abstract
Although the information concerning the mechanisms available to protect areas all over the word is significant, developing of new projects regarding biodiversity governance in Europe is quite opportune. In this context our research, part of GEM-CON-BIO project, investigated types and modes of governance that arerelated to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. First step of the research comprises strategic objectives and scientific concept of the project and also a governance matrix which will be used, as the basis of analysis regarding governance types in Macin Mountains National Park.
