VALORIFICAREA POTENȚIALULUI TURISTIC AL RAIONULUI CAHUL ÎN CADRUL COOPERĂRII TRANSFRONTALIERE

Abstract

The Cahul district is part of two Euroregions: ”Lower Danube” and ”Siret-Prut-Nistru”. A resource that is untapped by the Cahul district in the context of the cooperation between these Euroregions is its tourism potential. Even though the district has certain possibilities and opportunities for tourism development, they have not been identified and capitalized. The evaluation and exploitation of the touristic heritage could contribute to both the general development of the district and the budget consolidation of the localities within the district.
