The professional life project is a personality formation, which is structurally expressed in a series of professional motives, elaborated in temporal future perspective, in middle or long spaces of time. Its process of formation is favored by, among other aspects, the exigencies imposed by the human being in his or her social environment and the necessity of self-determination in the different spheres of life, which acquire a personal sense to the subject. This article aims at analyzing some theoretical positions in the treatment of such psychological structure.
