Abstract This resource is comprised of 13 assessment measures of medical student professionalism. The measures were designed to assess medical student professionalism development throughout the 4 years of the undergraduate medical education curriculum. Instructions for administration are provided with the measures. Minimal faculty preparation is required. Institutional, curriculum commitment to professionalism assessment is necessary however. The measures have been used with five incoming classes in the study school and six classes in collaborating medical schools. With the exception of the clinical skills measures, the measures can be administered within the framework of the assessment activities of the traditional medical school curriculum. It is highly recommended to begin peer assessment early in the curriculum, preferably in the first year and in a small-group setting.
