The present paper has the goal of presenting and discussing a teaching experience in higher education, specifically in the curricular component of Early Childhood Education, in a undergraduate course of Pedagogy of the College of Education in the Federal University of Ceará. This experience addressed the multiple languages forms of children and how they can best be promoted and estimulated in the context of early childhood education, with reference to the Malaguzzian Pedagogy. The analysis of the data constructed by the experiment resulted in reflections on the students' conceptions about children, the teachers and the school, as well as on their perception of the experiences with multiple languages forms. Teaching practice has contributed to the development of the instructor as a teacher in training, especially with regard to the exercise of listening, which enables the teacher to know the previous knowledge of his students, articulating them with new knowledge produced by science, in this experience, produced by the field of studies of early childhood education.
