This paper presents the issues concerning B2B ecommerce platforms. These tools can simplify trade contacts and strengthen the relation between business partners. Moreover, they facilitate effective negotiations and significant price reduction. This article aims at discussion on the most common classification criteria of ecommerce platforms, description of their rules of operation and the presentation of the most popular platforms on the Polish B2B market
