Purpose: The statistical features of emission in CS (J = 2 - 1) line, Class II methanol masers and IR sources in the regions associated with the Class II methanol masers are studied. Design/methodology/approach: The survey is performed at the CS (J = 2 - 1) line transition frequency, since this molecule is a solid gas tracer in which the conditions for the existence of methanol masers should arise. Findings: For the sources with which the Class II methanol masers are associated the dependences logLSC - logLbol , logLmeth - logLSC, and logLmeth - logLbol have been found. It is shown that on the average, the emission in the CS (J = 2 - 1) line toward Class II methanol masers is more often detected in those sources which are associated with the higher bolometric luminosity IR sources. Conclusions: The survey of the emission in the CS (J = 2 - 1) line toward Class II methanol masers for the northern celestial hemisphere was carried out. The statistical features of the emission in the CS (J = 2 - 1) line, Class II methanol masers and IR sources are shown.
