Academic procrastination behavior is an activity as to delay or avoid academic assignments. However, the delay is not based on laziness, but individual characteristic which focused more to standard grade implied and too much thinking about how other people assess the individual assignment. The research aimed to find out about academic procrastination behavior in accelerate Junior High School students and regular Junior High School students. The research involved 150 Junior High School students who active in acceleration learning program and regular program. Data collection method in this research uses Procrastination Assessment Scale-Students (PASS). Result shows T value = 2,345 and p = < 0,05, stated that there’s an academic procrastination behavior difference in accelerate Junior High School students and regular Junior High School students. Which the high academic procrastination behavior in accelerated Junior High School with Mean value 40,52 and regular Junior High School the Mean value is 37,07.
