The complex estimation of human external respiratory function, gas exchange and physical working capacity
Abstract
The complex and functional examination of 30 healthy men at the age of 21-50 has been carried out. The complete correspondence of the external respiratory indices to their due data has been determined. The moderate physical activity up to 100-125 watt attended the reliable increase of VC and FVC, which indicated the activation of functional reserves of the respiratory system during the recovery period after exercise. The limit of physical working capacity achieved by most men (125-150 watt) has been determined and recommended as a normative test, indicating the satisfactory condition of efficiency of healthy men.
