Humour et émotivité : l’expression des sentiments dans Le Voyage de Charlemagne

Abstract

We propose here to analyze from an emotional point of view Charlemagne’s Journey, which is undoub-tedly the funniest chanson de geste (except the atypical Audigier). In particular, we will try to see to what extent the irony of the text influences the representation of emotions, and how these influence in turn the reception of the text by the reader.
