Influence of a C0-C0 Locomotive Secondary Lateral Damper on the Lateral Stability

Abstract

Parameter optimization for a C0-C0 locomotive secondary lateral damper using SIMPACK dynamic simulation software was achieved, and the influence of locomotive secondary lateral damper on the lateral stability under different installation positions or different failure status was analyzed, which provided a reference for the design of the C0-C0 locomotive secondary lateral dampers.
