DETERMINATION OF THE CORRUGATION PARAMETERS AT COMBINED OPERATION OF REDUCTION AND FORMING OF CORRUGATION OF TUBULAR BLANKS
Abstract
The results of numerical modelling of corrugation forming at combination of reduction and corrugation formation of the tubular blanks are given. There were sequentially modelled initial buckling with symmetrical bulging and further plastic flow. The results of modelling were compared for the different parameters of the technological process and for the different correlation of the initial blank dimensions. It is shown, that applied model describes corrugation formation adequately. Application of the model proposed is recommended for calculation of the parameters of the corrugation formation process with axial displacement of the material to the zone of deformation.
