Abstract
The processes of urbanization in the development of cities and settlements increase the importance of the factors of the existing public infrastructure and lead to an intensification of the search for more effective mechanisms for the ecological renewal of the territorial and spatial environment of municipalities through the development and modernization of public infrastructure facilities aimed at improving the quality of communal services. The article considers the features of public infrastructure facilities operation related to a deterioration of their technical and functional characteristics over time, aging and disposal of existing facilities, premature growth of physical and moral deterioration of public infrastructure facilities during their life cycle. The specifics of elaborating mechanisms enabling mutual coordination and cooperation of municipalities, being a prerequisite for the development of an integrated and interconnected ecosystem, including infrastructural, social, and institutional components, are highlighted. It is proved that one of the methods is the use of the positive effects of the integration process, manifested in a new way at the level of local self-government. A structural and methodological model of integration interaction in the field of municipal infrastructure is suggested.
