Evaluation of the antimicrobial action of photodynamic therapy agents of non-clostridial anaerobic infection of the mouth and fungi of the genus Candida in experimental and clinical studies
Abstract
To study the effectiveness of laboratory PDT photosensitizer toluidine blue in relation to oral microflora in vitro and clinical dental practice in patients with inflammatory periodontal disease of different ages. In the clinical part of the work carried out dental and laboratory examination of patients with inflammatory periodontal diseases - periodontitis chronic moderate to severe (60 people, including 30 received PDT) aged 25 to 55 years. In the experimental part of the study was determined by inhibition of the growth of anaerobic microbial strains under the influence of the group of LED source «FotoSan». We used clinical and radiological, microbiological, molecular biological, and statistical methods. It is revealed inhibition of growth of microbial populations under the effect of photodynamic therapy, wherein the representatives of gram-positive, gram-negative anaerobic and fungal microflora. The optimum exposure modes and exposure. It confirmed the feasibility of use in dental practice exposure of not more than 30-60 seconds for the bacteria and 30 seconds - for fungi Candida. Established improved periodontal parameters and reducing the frequency allocation parodontopatogennyh bacteria after a course of photodynamic therapy patients.
