Two reports are essential about teenager’s public policy of the leisure: on the one hand the devices of occupation of free time are legion and a plethora of contracts free time are subsidized by cities council and local governments; whereas a large range of activities is offered to the teenagers during extra-curricular time, the rates of frequentation remain hopelessly weak in addition. To determine the policy issues of teenager’s leisure as well as the reasons of the disaffection of the communities centres, the article use a material diversity in order to carry out a classification of teenager’s leisure starting from the crossing of two analytical dimensions: the school form and the social control. These two axes make it possible to isolate three types of leisure presented successively like time for perfection, time training and time for regulation. The matrix proposed then makes it possible to determine the nature of the spare time which, although complementary to three previous times, seems like time subjectivation and by doing this a pressing temporality.
