Open Higher Education in the Arab World towards Development and Innovation Arab Open University Branch of Jordan as a Model

The study aimed to identify the reality of open higher education in the Arab World towards development and innovation, from the perspective of open universities students in the Arab World; to propose solutions that might improve open higher education in the Arab world. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the study tool was developed by reference to the educational literature related to the subject of the study, as well as the use of the tools of previous studies related to the subject of higher education open in the Arab world and verified its validity and stability. The study sample consisted of (306) students of Arab Open University (Jordan Branch), for the year (2016/2017). And analysis of the study data, used averages, standard deviations, and t-test. The results showed that the estimate of the study sample to the reality of open higher education in the Arab World, from the viewpoint of the Arab Open University (Jordan Branch) students, was average, and there were statistically significant differences in the reality of higher education open in the Arab world from the point of view of the students of the Arab Open University / Jordan, from the point of view of its students due to the sex variable of students and for the benefit of female students. The study proposed solutions that might serve to improve open higher education in the Arab World to development and innovation.
