DIAGNOSIS OF PRODUCTION ARTICLES INDEXED IN SCIENCE JOURNAL CITATION REPORTS IN NORTHERN SINALOA

Abstract

Of researchers working in major research centers and public universities in the northern state of Sinaloa, Mexico, a diagnosis of the number of scientific and technical articles published in journals that are in the Science Journal Citation Reports is performed to this databases of some of the institutions mentioned, as well as internet consultation and personal reviewed. Disclosed the range and average impact factor of articles. Research centers are so presented a higher number of indexed journals, however when comparing the average impact factor with some of the institutions and public universities similar results were obtained. Clearly still low productivity high impact scientific articles in upstate despite the productive economic dynamism presents this region.
