"Es ist vollendet" (Joh 19,30). Zeitaspekt in der johanneischen Passionsgeschichte
Abstract
By usage of methodical instruments of narrative criticism at first the passion narrative in John 18:1–19:42 will be investigated under the aspect of time. In the second step the analysis of the context follows. The connection between the passion- and easterevents is in the Gospel of John narrative pre-programmed. An explicit ellipse, namely the great Sabbath, the Feast of Passover after the day of Jesus’ death, has an important function for understanding the entire narrative connection. The counting of time is orientated on that day (proleptically and analeptically). A biblical theological reflection of the results concludes this contribution.
