Professional employee development in literature – selected aspects

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to indicate the significance of the role of professional development in the professional career of employees in literature. So the research problem relates to the question: what is the employer’s role in the professional development of employees? The publication is a continuation of a series of articles entitled The role of the professional environment in shaping social competences. Professional development in today’s human resource management in strategic terms is the basic determinant of the organization’s competitiveness. For the purposes of this article, selected aspects have been characterized and described as one of the many components for shaping employees’ professional competences.
