Le nouchi dans L’État z’héros ou la guerre des gaous de Maurice Bandaman : problématologie et herméneutique d’un interlecte panafricain
Abstract
Based on the use of a hybrid urban language in L’État z’héros ou la guerre des gaous by Maurice Bandaman, of Nouchi, which is specific to Côte d’Ivoire, the present contribution, used a socio-pragmatic approach in order to demonstrate the need for a pan-African language. Due to its current geographic and demographic extension, by its non-belonging to a particular ethnic community, and due to its composition similar to some emerging urban languages from other African countries, this study concludes that Nouchi could contribute to the linguistic unification of Africa, held for the condition of its cultural, political and economic liberation. That is why this language should be refined and popularized by the insertion of words from other African languages and from those of particular variants of foreign languages spoken on the continent, in addition to the Ivorian national words.
