Kontribusi Konsep Diri dan Kebutuhan Berafilasi terhadap Interaksi Sosial Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama
Abstract
This research was conducted based on the importance of students’ social interaction. This research used a quantitative method of descriptive correlational type. The population of the research was the students of SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong selected by the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The findings of the research indicated that: (1) the self-concept of students was at a good enough category, (2) the need for affiliation was at a high category, (3) social interaction was at a high category, (4) there was a positive contribution and significant correlation between self-concept toward students’ social interaction, (5) there was a positive contribution and significant correlation between the needs of affiliation toward students’ social interaction, and (4) there was a positive contribution and significant correlation between self-concept and need for affiliation concurrently toward students’ social interaction of SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong.
