Związki turystyki z rozwojem regionu nadmorskiego

Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the issues about correlation between tourism and development of coastal region. In particular, the impact of selected aspects of tourism has been taken into account. Considerations have been carried out using the example of West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Moreover, the analyses of the changes in the size of tourism and forecasts up to 2020 were done. Apart from this, some elements of econometric modelling was applied. In order to present the results, descriptive, tabular and graphical methods were used.
