LEXICAL MEANS EXPRESSING INDIGNATION (ON THE BASIS OF ENGLISH FICTION TEXTS)

Abstract

This article focuses on the means of expressing the emotion of indignation in English. The research is based on English fiction texts. The analysis demonstrates that the personages’ emotion of indignation represented in the author’s speech by verbs of talking and adverbs, intensifying their meaning.
