Aimed at the problem of too much noise in the monitoring room of track engineering vehicle, in order to provide a low noise working environment for workers, this paper takes a railway track engineering car as the object, noise of its power generation room is tested and analyzed, and the generator in power generation room is found as the main noise source of generator car. Noise reduction target of the total noise reduction of 3 dB (A) in the monitoring room is set, and an acoustic optimization design strategy of the partition between power generation room and monitoring room is formulated, that is, to increase the thickness of each part of the partition structure under the premise of increasing the same weight. Sound insulation performance simulation model of the partition wall is established in LMS Virtual Lab and the corresponding increase of A-weighted sound insulation of partition wall is calculated as the thicknesses of light wall panel, sound-absorbing cotton, damping sheet and steel plate are increased respectively. Conclusion that the noise reduction effect is the best when the sound-absorbing cotton of partition wall is increased by 15 mm is obtained which is taken as the final optimization scheme. Measurement results show that with the optimization scheme, the total noise reduction amount of the monitoring room is 3.1 dB (A), and the noise reduction amount under different frequencies is 1~5 dB (A). The noise reduction effect is obvious, which meets the set noise reduction target requirements of the monitoring room.
