O perfil do diretor das escolas públicas de Itabaiana (SE): um estudo multivariado

This work deals with the educational management, investigating the profile of the school manager in Itabaiana municipality located in Sergipe wild, Northeast Brazil. Was used as data collection instrument the questionnaire applied in 58 public schools in Itabaiana, seeking to identify elements with statistical significance for the determination to form groups from the director’s profile, using multivariate statistical analysis tool groups (conglomerates). After identifying these variables seek to reflect on aspects related to skills, abilities and difficulties involved in school management process from the perspective of managers. There was, according to the responses, that variables related to the sex of managers, nature of the difficulties faced in the management process of teaching experience time and access to funding arrangements of educational institutions are characterized as significant aspects from the perspective the statistical tool employed (multivariate analysis groups) in the formation of different profiles of groups of Itabaiana managers (SE) in the sample analyzed.
