The induction of anaesthesia with zylazineketamine ombination was smooth and rapid. Maintenance with a mixture composed of xylazine, ketamine and guaifenesin produced good depth of anaesthesia with adequate muscle relaxaton. Recovery from anaesthesia was uneventful without any side effects.
