Olaibarko aldaeraren inguruan (Bigarren erdia: erdialdeko herriak)
Abstract
Olaibarko hau Louis-Lucien Bonaparte euskalariak, Iruñe ondoko Atarrabia herria hegoaldeko mugatzat harturik, Ezkaba menditik iparraldera, Ezkabarte, Olaibar eta Odieta izeneko ibarrek osatzen duten esparrua aintzat hartuz jo zuen aldaeratzat, beste gainerakoekin batera (Erro, Auritz, Artze eta Elkano deiturikoekin) cispamplonés deitu zuen azpieuskalkiaren bosgarrena osatuz, hori guztia, jakina denez, Hegoaldeko goi-nafarrera deitu ere zuen euskalkiaren barruan kokatuz. Lan honetara, azpitituluan aipatzen denez, aldaerari dagozkion erdialde eta hegoaldeko zenbait herritan duela hogeita hamabost, ia berrogei urte, bildu genituen grabazioetatik ateratako hainbat testu ekarri dugu. The Olaibar variety was given its name by the Basquephile Louis-Lucien Bonaparte when he made his classification of the Basque language. He defined the southernmost point of the variety as the town of Atarrabia (Villava), on the outskirts of Iruñea (Pamplona), spreading it north of Mount Ezkaba to encompass the valleys of Ezkabarte, Olaibar and Odieta. By adding this fifth variety to the Erro, Auritz (Burguete), Artze and Elkano varieties, he completed what he called the cispamplonés subdialect of the southern upper Navarrese dialect. As indicated in the subtitle, this paper offers several texts collected from the central and southern parts of the area some thirty-five, almost forty, years ago.
