A arte como contrabando: notas sobre antropofagia e política Art as smuggling: a note on anthropophagy and politics
Abstract
Este artigo tem por mote o contexto histórico e os procedimentos poéticos da antropofagia de Oswald de Andrade e as suas relações com o nacionalismo paulista elaborado durante a Primeira República. Discute-se a relação entre o social, o subjetivo e o literário, percorrendo-se aspetos de formulações teóricas distintas, que, longe de serem forçadas a uma síntese que resultaria incoerente, são acionadas como forma de reflexão a respeito da possibilidade de se pensar as relações entre estética e poder sem que se postule uma unilateralidade determinista da ordem social sobre a literatura e sem que se reduza a estética literária à instrumentalidade panfletário-política.The article examines the historical context and poetic procedures of Oswald de Andrade’s Anthropophagy and its relations with nationalism from São Paulo during the First Republic. It explores the relationship between the social, the subjective, and the literary, passing through the aspects of distinctive theoretical formulae that, far from being enforced to a synthesis that would be incoherent as a result, are operated as input of reflection with regard to the possibility of thinking about the relationships between esthetics and power.
