The aim of the research we have done is to characterize the social perception about science and technology that people in different fields have: education, business, government, media and society in Córdoba. This must be considered and analyzed since it is a deciding factor in the design, carrying out and assessment of the scientific and technological policies in the media and education. This descriptive study includes an enquiry and the development of focal groups. The proposal is aimed at the design of a model of citizen participation that encourages the use of the results of the scientific research in the interests of the social development. With this study, we mean to advance in the decision of shared regional indicators from methodologies adjusted to social, political and economic characteristics of the people involved and, thus, to get the guidelines of a local and global policy.
