Abstract

Usual management of drip irrigation in protected cultivation in arid climate. Use of draining lysimeters. Thanks to trials led on water needs of protected crops, in the Massa area (Morocco), the draining lysimeter appears to be useful device for common management of drip irrigation of vegetable crops, under greenhouses. The construction of a lysimeter of local conception is described, as wel as its use, its fitness to the local conditions, its advantages and limits.
