Research on the Constructionof Network Public Opinion Analysts’Competency Model

Abstract

[Purpose/significance]This paper aimsat discovering the competencies that network public opinion analysts should have under the mobile Internet background. [Method/process]This paper conducted a deeply study of the competency characteristics and influencing factors of our country's network public opinion analysts by the methods of mining, behavioral event interviews, questionnaires, and so on. [Result/conclusion]The result shows that the competency of network public opinion analysts can be examined from personality traits, high-level vocational skills, information analysis capabilities, professional moral cultivation and industry knowledge. This research result will provide reference opinions for the selection, evaluation and cultivation of the network public opinion analysistalents.
