The peace of Turks, who has been living in tolerance and justice with otherethnic groups in Bulgaria for about 500 years after the Ottoman conquest of theBalkans, degraded after the war of 93. The Turks, were under constant pressure from that date till theend of the 1980s. Especially in the 1980s there was a genocide likeactions against Turks, several ways to change Turks names, languages, religion,surnames were tried. In such an environment their union and claim of their languageand identities sustained the Turks in Bulgaria. Today, Bulgarian Turks is striving tokeep their language and culture a live such as their an cestors. Shumen NazımHikmet Cultural House and the publication organ Mozaik journal appears to be amanifestations of this endeavor.As a result of this, the aim of the study is to evaluate Shumen Nazım Hikmetcultural house and Mozaik journal in terms of their contribution to Turkish languageand culture. This descriptive study is based on the method of document analysis.The collected data were subjected to content analysis. As a result of the study, it isobserved that Shumen Nazım Hikmet Cultural House and Mozaik journal operate towards the same goal and contribute toTurkish language and culture in many ways.
