First record of a maternity colony of <em>Nyctalus noctula</em> in Austria: does the European nursing area expand?

Abstract

The first maternity colony of <em>Nyctalus noctula</em> in Austria was found in 2006. The possibility of an ongoing expansion of the European nursing area is discussed.
