Abstract

Global impact of financial crisis on the real economy was strongly felt, and the economy asa whole was affected by a substantial slowdown in growth, which affected people,businesses and jobs. In this context, the European Union recalibrates its strategy and socialpolicy under the pressure of new conditions of economic and financial crisis and launcheson 3 March 2010, the ,,Europe 2020” strategy, which would be a continuation of the Lisbonstrategy with components that are purely social and part of a solid recovery and combatprogram against the social effects generated by global economic crisis.
