Review of the «smart» car biometric access control system using the fingerprint scan
Abstract
The object of research is a system for monitoring and controlling access to a car. The article provides an overview of the basic principles of building protective systems, both traditional and more modern, including those using biometric technologies. All analyzed systems have certain disadvantages associated with insufficient reliability, excessive complexity or energy consumption. The aim of the work is to present a reliable, easy to use and install and affordable biometric system for monitoring and controlling access to starting a car engine. To achieve the goal, a number of structural elements are proposed, selected as the most successful of the previously considered systems. The reader is offered a structural diagram of the presented system. Ref. 5, pic. 1
