Arteriovenous malformations (AVM) are vascular abnormalities, most often presenting significant risk of massive bleeding and being lethal for the patient. Thus, the knowledge of these lesions must be adequate for both the clinical and the oral radiologists. In this paper we describe the medical history of a young woman with a massive arteriovenous malformation localized at the left side of the mandible.
