The Economy of Eastern Siberia and the Far East in Connection with their Zoning
Abstract
The issues of East Siberia zoning are considered. The core economic problems are examined with respect to natural resources, connections with the markets in the European part of the USSR, international and Asian markets. According to economic, political, national and administrative reasons the establishment of following administrative and economic formations is suggested: Lensk-Baikal territory, Far East territory and Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic
