In order to measure the safety rejection sensitivity level of Chinese miners, we develop a corresponding scale on the basis of the measurement paradigm of individual rejection sensitivity, and propose a pre-test scale for miners’ safety rejection sensitivity. The formal scale was gradually revised after project analysis, reliability analysis. For the initial application of the formal scale, the individual and group differences of miners were studied by dividing the safety rejection sensitivity level, independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results show that the formal scale has good reliability and validity, including 3 scenarios of leader rejection and 7 scenarios of non-leader rejection, and 3 items in each scenario reflect the anticipation of rejection, the anxiety of safety rejection, and the anger of safety rejection; there are significant variations in the safety rejection sensitivity of miners, and most of them show slight, mild or moderate levels; the safety rejection sensitivity of miners has no differences in gender, age, educational background, seniority and position.
