Abstract

Starting from the original story by Mérimée, Carmen, in all its forms, has the right of permanent citizenship as a form of entertainment and in everyone’s fantasies: opera, rock opera, hip opera and musicals, dance and ballet, literature, theater, but especially in films (about 80 versions) with varied musical accompaniment, from jazz to rap.
