Data from the specialized literature show that annually, more than 400,000 people die due to cardiorespiratory arrest in the USA. A trend of increasing demand for staff specialized in skills such as Advanced Life Support (ALS), post-resuscitation care and long-term management of patients with cardiorespiratory arrest can be seen. The two major interventions that can reverse cardiorespiratory arrest are cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and early automated external defibrillation (AED). The present research is defined by achieving the goal of identifying the particularities of prehospital management of patients with cardiorespiratory arrest.
