In this paper the performances of DS/CDMA (Direct-Sequence Code Division Multiple-Access) mobile communication system in the presence of additive Gaussian noise, shadowing and fading are considered. Both Binary Phase-Shift-Keying (BPSK) and Differential Phase-Shift-Keying (DPSK) modulation schemes are considered. The average Bit Error Rate (BER) vs. number of users in the microcell, the BER vs. signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for different number of users in the microcell, and outage probability of the system vs. number of users in the microcell are observed. The various unit pulse shapes are considered.
