Türkiye’de Atatürk Dönemi’nde (1923-1938) Uygulanan Para Politikaları
Abstract
There are important lessons to be taken from the applications in our country on the relationship between money policy precautions and economic stability. The money policy application in the period of Atatürk covering especially the years between 1923-1938 is very important in expressing the genius brought into the economics field as well, by the great leader Atatürk, who had military personality and identity. It is important because Atatürk not only managed what many current bureaucrats and politicians cannot do on his own, but also he did it in the first 15 years of the new Turkish Republic established on the ruins of the collapsed empire.When the basic characteristics of mixed economy model which Atatürk presented are studied according to macro dimensions, one of the subjects handled is a strong Turkish Lira which prevents inflation, a banking system organization which works well and a money policy in which sources and expenses are equal. The aim of this study is to discuss the money policy in the period of Atatürk from 1923 to 1938 in Turkey.
