Abstract

The eight decades of Spanish Guidism that came true in 2009 invite us to revise their historic trayectory. This essay is a homage to the person that iniciated it and also remembers other important educators and at the same time their respective apportations to the world of education are described. As a prospective, it is obvious their big importance as a model of education for our children and our young members of the 21st Century.Las ocho décadas de Guidismo en España que se cumplen en 2009 nos invitan a revisar su trayectoria histórica. Este ensayo es un homenaje a la persona que lo inició y un recuerdo a otras muchas grandes educadoras, al mismo tiempo que analiza y describe sus principales aportaciones al mundo de la educación. De cara al futuro, es evidente su gran importancia como atractiva propuesta para formar a la infancia y a la juventud del siglo XXI.
