Chad has suffered from a continuous spiral of conflicts and conflicts that posed a major threat to its internal stability in particular and the African region in general, and one of the most important causes of the civil war was the control of the southern part of the capabilities of government and the exclusion of the northern part, which represents the majority in the country  The conflict befell libya when Libya annexed the Uzo strip to its territory in 1976, and Libyan President Moamer Gadhafi took control of the strip without going into the conflict to protect Libya's security and remote interference in the affairs of the security sector. In its meetings, the OAU failed to resolve the Chad issue because each side maintained its position as well as international positions in its support for both sides of the conflict based on its interests, which further complicated the problem and the lack of a solution
