Effectiveness of Education in Polish Discourse – Types and Variables

Abstract

Introduction: The effectiveness of education in literature is described in the theoretical and application areas. Efficiency directly connotes multidimensionality and multithreading. In education, the term appears twice, in a narrower and broader sense. In a narrower sense, efficiency is opposed to quantity. It identifies those features and qualities that cannot be measured and are necessary in the school's job description. In the second case, efficiency combines measurable and immeasurable features. The text of the article largely refers to Polish research explorations of this area, although in some places it also cites the positions of foreign researchers. Research Aim: In this area, we can assume the desirability of reviewing the variables occurring in the study of the effectiveness of education, i.e. regarding: work of students, teachers, learning objectives, principles of education, education content, education methods, forms of education, didactic aids, material and technical base and other variables .Evidence-based Facts: In terms of history, the effectiveness of education set expectations for teachers and students in terms of cognitive, emotional and psychomotor performance. On the cognitive level, the subject of research was: knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis. In the emotional sphere: perception, reaction, evaluation, organizing, characterizing, and in the psychomotor sphere: perception, attitude, guided response, adaptation, originality.Summary: The discussed various aspects of the effectiveness of education overlap and are not easy to separate. In order to improve the didactic and educational process, it is necessary to conduct research on all the forms of effectiveness that occur within it. It seems obvious if we treat the efficiency of school education as a global name for its various varieties.
