La loi Leonetti : du droit à l’éthique
Abstract
When faced with the end of life subject matter, is the legal frame sufficient to guide medical decisions regarding the patient’s best interest? Are the laws as well as judges compelled to refer to values and ethical considerations to interpret, supplement and sometimes even adapt rules of law in this context of extreme vulnerability? This approach proves to be paramount to the enforcement of the law which is, in any event, a rather difficult process in such a singular moment of humanity.
