In the period from 1955 to 2007, in Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (Vojvodina), agricultural land consolidation (consolidation) was done for an area of 1,129,813 ha, which is about 60% of the total area of non-built land. In 2007, the Republic Geodetic Authority carried out Analysis of the need for the development of agricultural land by consolidation in the territory of AP Vojvodina, in which, among other things, a detailed analysis of the status of the state survey and land cadastre or real estate cadastre, and the needs for the land development by consolidation was presented for each cadastral municipality (CM) in Vojvodina. From 2007 to 2024, consolidation was carried out in the area of Vojvodina, for the area of 33 CMs and a total area of 135,889 ha. The paper presents works done on consolidation in Vojvodina, the analysis of the needs and possibilities of development of agricultural land by consolidation in Vojvodina, the legal and by-law legislation that regulate the area of consolidation as well as the need to change it. The scope and proposed dynamics of performing geodetic-technical works in the consolidation process are presented, as well as the assessment of the necessary financial resources. The problems that arise in the consolidation process were analysed and a proposal for solving them was given.
