Political Position Of Student Education As a Desirable Citizen In Iran Official Documents (Case Study of the Fundamental Education Transformation Document, 20-Year Vision Document)
Abstract
A desirable citizen for formal systems is recognized as a creative and independent element. They use a variety of methods to subdue them. The official education system of the Islamic Republic of Iran also tries to educate its desirable citizen by compiling the documents "Basic Education Transformation Document and 20-Year Vision Document". This article, while identifying the foundations of citizenship preparation and the characteristics of a desirable citizen, seeks to highlight the clear position of the formal education system in Iran through these documents on citizen-student education. Methodologically, this paper is an analytical documentary type in which the content of the documents was analyzed by content analysis method and the samples were selected by theoretical sampling in a compression method. In the findings section, the results of the analysis of the documents show that both documents consider the attainment of divine closure the ultimate goal of education. The extracted categories of religious citizenship in the religious (belief, religious) and cognitive (value, moral, scientific, and cultural) categories both illustrate this type. But in exploring the social citizenship category (social benefit, social political participation, distinct social role-making, and social development origin), they suggest a different path to the goal. on these results, the document sees the transformation of achieving the ideals of a desirable citizen in prioritizing individual, while the perspective document while taking into account differences creates the starting point for citizenship education, Develops appropriate structures and places people in these institutions to formal patterns learning of the ruling system.
