Cervicofacial lymphadenitis is the most frequent presentation of nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infection in children, and axillary NTM lymphadenitis is extremely rare. In most cases, Mycobacterium avium is identified as the causative microorganism. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice for axillary NTM lymphadenitis. Here, we report three cases of children with unilateral axillary lymphadenitis caused by Mycobacterium avium.
