The aura in Eduardo Kak: roots in Benjamin
Abstract
Our research object is the experimental poet Eduardo Kac, who defined a poetpetunia hybrid. We analyzed his work Edunia, derived from Natural History of the Enigma, work begun in 2003 and inaugurated in 2009. We essentially allude to the classic text of Walter Benjamin, The work of art in the age of its technical reproducibility. We also studied canonical poets that tematize the image of the modern Flower: Baudelaire (The Flowers of Evil), Drummond (The Rose of the People).
